Posted in Idling on 06/19/2007 07:51 pm by foolhandyFollowing the lead from Murph I’ve added Adsense to this site. You should see some text ads down to the right which are supposed to relate to the text here, hence the many references to ‘Handy’ items.
I did toy with picture ads but this was the first one to come up :
I’m sure it’s a very honourable institution, but I’m not sure how Google came to think it tied in with anything here…

I can’t abide ads. I have them blocked in FF.

I have to learn about it all for work…so I learn by doing.
Plus I use a feedreader to read the blogs most of the time so don’t even see them.

I try and learn by doing, but I don’t have to do it so when I get utterly confused as I have this evening I stop and go back to it all later.
Feed readers are things I haven’t really got into. I’ve tried a few but I don’t visit that many blogs and I prefer to see them as they are, not all listed together in ugly fashion. I know with LJ you get a similar thing with a Friends Page, but at least then they’re presented in a format you like. I ought really to try feed readers again though.

I’ve not had a good relationship with feed readers, but I think I’ve finally found one I like - Newsgator.
